What inspired you to become a jeweller?
It was great way for me to earn a living using my artist abilities. There is so much room for creativity and we are still handcrafting jewellery in a world where so much is mass produced.
How would you describe the jewellery you create?
Flowing, well-proportioned, detailed and in collaboration with our customers.
What do you feel is so special about diamonds?
They are always stylish. They fit the farm, the beach & the ball. Their durability is unmatched. They add always add elegance to any outfit. They inspire and give the wearer confidence.
What achievement are you most proud of?
To have a flourishing business over 3 decades crafting, high-end jewellery while winning awards and training 8 outstanding, young, Australian apprentices.
If you had to design a your fantasy piece, what would it be?
I’d make the amazing head piece that my daughter designed.
Do you see any current trends in the industry?
Fancy shaped diamonds using in asymmetrical designs.
